I will also have some fresh baked breads: Pumpkin, Zucchini, Lot's of Chocolate and Banana. Stock up on canned goods, Jams and Jellies, Dehydrated Vegetables and Dried Beans. Saturday Farmers Market at 8th and RR 8-1!! This will be the last outside market for the season. Starting Nov - until December 20 Winter Market will be held in the commons area behind the shops at 8th and RR. Tomorrow I will have fresh produce including: Onions, Turnips, Carrots, Winter Squash, Lettuce, Kale and Arugula. I will also have some Farm Fresh Eggs for sale. I packaged up some dehy...drated Turnips, Tomatoes, Eggplant and Peppers. These are great for making Soups, Roasts and Chili. Fresh Breads tomorrow: Lemon, Zucchini, Banana and Lot's of Chocolate. Put on your long johns or cuddl duds in the morning and come on down to Farmers Market. Lee will be at 8th and RR shivering from 8-1 and I will be at Landscape Garden Center 9-2!! What a beautiful day out today!! Farmers Market at Harrisburg in front of Harrisburgers 3-7 today!! We will have Red and Yukon Gold Potatoes,. Beresford Market today at Blooms N Lattes. I am planning to get there at 3 but not sure how long I will be there depending on what the weather does. I don't want to blow away. Ha. Anyway I will be bringing some beautiful Eggplant, hot and mild peppers. Yukon Gold and Red Potatoes. Onions, slicing Tomatoes and a few Cherry Tomatoes. Pinata Winter Squash. Beautiful rain this morning so working on harvesting fresh produce for markets tomorrow.  We will have Yukon Gold and Red Norland Potatoes, Red, Purple and White Onions.  Beets, Turnips, Carrots, Bell Peppers and a few Chianti Peppers. Purple and Green beans ( provided it dries enough so we can pick)  Zucchini, Broccoli and possibly Lettuce.  Eggplant, Cabbage, Cherry Tomatoes and hopefully some ripe larger Tomatoes.  We will also have an assortment of fresh Sweet Breads: Lemon, Zucchini, Chocolate and Banana. Fresh Breads: Zucchini, Banana, Pumpkin and Chocolate. Assorted Jams and Jellies: new this week Cherry-Rhubarb and Blueberry. Harrisburg Market today 3-7 at Harrisburger's Drive Inn. Today at market I will have Green and Purple Beans. Red, Blue and Yukon Gold Potatoes. Red, White and Yellow Onions, Turnips, Lettuce and Broccoli, Cabbage and a few Eggplant. Zucchini and Summer Squash. Carrots and assorted Peppers. I will also have a variety of Bread, Jams, Salsa, Pickles and Dilly Beans available. I was able to get some picking and cleaning done last night before it started to rain so should not get too soaked out picking this morning. Grateful for the rain, we really need it!! I will also have breads: Lemon, Chocolate, Banana and Zucchini. ... Dill Pickles, Dilly Beans, Bread and Butter Pickles, Pickled Beets, Salsa and Pickled Banana Peppers. Strawberry-Rhubarb Jam, Mulberry Jam, Apple Butter, Jalapeno Glaze, Lemon Jelly. I Also made some new Jams last night that you will want to try: Cherry-Rhubarb and Blueberry. They both taste great!! Wednesday Farmers Market in Harrisburg in front of Harrisburger's 3-7 CSA pickups. We will also have Onions, Yellow and Green Peas. Green, Yellow and Purple Beans. Cucumbers, Zucchini, Beets and Turnips. And I guess whatever else I can pick before I leave for market. I will also be bringing some breads: Zucchini, Banana and Chocolate. Farmers Market schedule reminder!!

Starting on Tuesday next week we will be at all the Markets. It seems like it has taken forever to get started this season but grateful to be going. We have not started the UPick at our farm on Mondays yet because our neighbors are still surrounded by water from the heavy rains and the bugs have been awful., Will keep you updated on that

Saturday Market at 8th and RR and Landscape Garden Center!!

Today was a really hot day and plenty of bugs so we were not able to harvest everything we wanted for market tomorrow at 8th and RR (8-1) and Landscape Garden Center on South Minnesota Ave (9-2)
We were able to harvest a lot of produce this week for our CSA shareholders. Tomorrow Lee will have Green and Yellow Beans, Onions, Turnips, Snow Peas at 8th and RR. He will also have a nice variety of... Baked Goods, Canned Goods and Farm Fresh Eggs. I will have Snow Peas, Green and Yellow Beans and Onions, as well as baked goods and canned goods. This will be our first market at Landscape Garden Center so hope to see you. Due to the really wet spring, produce has been slow but the crops are coming along really well. Hope to see you tomorrow and don't forget Hot Harley Nights this weekend, A great event for Make A Wish!!

Saturday June 21st at 8th and RR 8-1

Hope you can stop down at 8th and RR in the morning.  Also hope for good weather!!  We will have canned goods: Bread and Butter Pickles, Pickled Beets. Pickled Banana Rings, Salsa.  We will also have Strawberry-Rhubarb Jam, Mulberry Jam, Apple Butter, Lemon Jelly, Jalapeno Jelly. I will also be bringing some fresh breads: Zucchini, Lemon, Banana and Lots of Chocolate.  I will also have dried beans, Rhubarb and bedding plants;  We are drying up but still really wet and crops are slow

Sunny and humid today!!

The gardens are still too wet to work in so we worked on the other To Do list: Yesterday we butchered all the roosters to make room for the baby chicks and the new chicks that will arrive next week. Thanks so much to Kirk and LeAnn for your help, Julie and Pat too. Thanks so very much to Tracie for helping out as well. Any daughter that will help butcher and clean chickens and then help clean o...ut chicken coops is a keeper for sure and would make a great farm wife!! Boys, Tracie is taking the lead in favorite child department right now! Also cleaned out the chicken coop today, cleaned up everything in the greenhouse. Hopefully tomorrow we can get back in the gardens and work on what we really need to get done. The plants are doing pretty well based on the amount of rain that we had but sure need a break and some heat to keep growing!

Saturday June 14th at 8th and RR

Hope you all enjoyed the great day today!!

I will be at 8th and RR tomorrow with Fresh Rhubarb, a variety of canned goods: Pickles, Pickled Beets, Salsa, Sweet Pepper Rings, Jalapeno Jelly, Strawberry-Rhubarb, Mulberry Jam, Apple Butter, Lemon Jelly and assorted other goodies. Breads: Zucchini, Banana, Lot's of Chocolate, and Pumpkin. I will also have Cage Free Farm Fresh Eggs available!! Produce is growing well after the 4 1/2 plus inches of rain this week and hopefully will be ready for market soon. Have a great weekend Hope to see you tomorrow!!

We will be at 8th and RR tomorrow: LeAnn will be bringing a variety of soaps and dog treats. I will have some dried beans, rhubarb and a variety of unique tomato and pepper plants for your gardens.  I will also have a variety of jams and jellies, salsa, pickled beets, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, Jalapeno Glaze. Lawn and Garden Show this weekend at W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds!!

I will be at the Lawn and Garden Show on Saturday this weekend. Landscape Garden Center was nice enough to invite me to be part of their booth. They will be there all weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at the W.H Lyon Fairground. I will have information regarding our upcoming Farmers Markets this season as well as information about us and our CSA program and how you can sign up to receive a weekly delivery of Farm Fresh, Chemical Free produce all season long!! Stop down and say hi and take advantage of all the wonderful displays and demonstrations.
